Johnson Family

I am back to the photography side of my life! We are finally settled in Colorado in our new home WITH decor on the wall (YAY!) and school has started! So with a little more free time, I am getting the good ole' photog-blog up to date and getting ready for some fall photo sessions!

This is the beautiful Johnson family. When I moved to Utah when I was 12, Kassi was my first friend. My grandma called her mom and she took us out for a pizza. (Kassi, do you remember this?) And she has been a great friend ever since. Years and life have taken us away from staying in close touch, but she's one of those people you know you can always count on. Not to mention my husband and her husband go way back too. So obviously I was super excited when Kassi asked me to do a photo session for her family and her adorable little Miss Molly! I tried really hard to narrow down my favorites, but Miss Molly is so dang sassy while also being sweet and funny that I fell head over heels!

The Graduate

My beautiful niece, Whitney just graduated from high school and I got to do her senior pictures as her graduation gift. It ended up being a little bit of a last minute thing when I found out on Mother's Day that she had yet to do senior pics and was graduating a week and a half later, so I drove up to meet her at her high school the next day and had a blast. This girl is just plain gorgeous, inside and out! I could not narrow down my favorites of her shoot, so enjoy the picture overload. :) Congrats Whit!

The Redd's

I did this shoot in April, so I'm obviously trying to catch up on the photog-blog right now. :) These four people make up one of my favorite families of all time. We went to medical school together and my family misses them dearly already. I am so glad they asked me to do this family session before we all moved away from each other. Love you, Redd's!
