When I went to Utah in September for my sister-in-law's wedding, I had my mom help me take the boys pictures. I needed to update my photos of them around the house. These are my favorites.

MY FAM
These pictures were taken way back in April and I finally got around to editing them! So terrible, I know, but better late than never. My friend, Jamie, and I did a swap, where I took her family pics and she took mine before we moved away from Nevada. Ours were taken out in Nelson, NV. I wish I was able to do more work out there or do my family pictures out there again! Seriously, I loved this place. If anyone is going to be close to Vegas and ready for family pictures, look up Nelson, Nevada. So unbelievably worth it! And don't let these pictures fool you, there were so many more cool things around, but my kids were being very uncooperative, so many of our successful mementos occurred in the road.

The "R" Family
When I was running my fall special, I got a call from this awesome lady and I got to do their family session. As it turns out, she lives in my neighborhood and I feel like I lucked out when she called because I gained a new friend. Plus look at their little boy! Tell me he is not the most adorable and photogenic kiddo on earth! I kind of want to just make a claim that I get to do all their pictures forever....that's legal, right? I seriously am in love with the finished products of this session and I have so many favorites! It was hard to narrow it down for this post even! Thanks for the awesome time, "R" Family!

My Abi Girl
I can't believe I never posted these of my little Abi Girl! Back in the first weekend of April, we had this little girl's big brother, Jonah Boy stay with us for the weekend and when Josh and Christy came through to pick him up, we did a super fast photo shoot of Miss Abi. I am in love with her eyes. They just sparkle.
My Lovely Larsen's
On Memorial Day, I got to hang with my peeps and take their pictures. These cutie pies are my pseudo nieces and nephews. I went to high school with their dad and he has always been like a brother to me and when he married Christy, I lucked out big time that she was my sister soul mate. :) Needless to say at this point, I love this family and love these kiddos. These are back from May, so we need to do some updating soon Larsen clan!
The Turner's
I miss this family more than words could describe. I can honestly say that these four people are like an extension of our family and I wish we still lived within five minutes of each other...dang med school graduation. Anyway, Jamie and I helped each other take our family pictures back in April before we all went our separate ways for residency. We took theirs at Lake Las Vegas, which is probably my favorite Vegas place for pictures. The possibilities are endless. I love the color scheme in these pictures and looking through these again made me miss how green it is there!
The Carter's
One of my new Colorado besties has been wanting to do a photo session with me, but they kind of want warmer weather that results in greener, prettier pictures, but they wanted new pictures for their Christmas card. So on a day that I knew everyone was home, I called her and told her we were doing pictures for their Christmas cards. These cute shots took only twenty minutes on Wellington Main Street. Since we moved here I had been wanting to do pictures in front of this cool wall that is a side of a restaurant here. They were nice enough to humor me. :) Thanks Carter's!
Overbay Extended Family Session
Over Thanksgiving weekend, I got to do my first extended family session (besides the huge Dekker clan, but that's my own family, so I don't count it.) My mom got to come and be my assistant and I loved having her along and she really was a huge help! Thanks Mom! I was really nervous about getting all the shots that were needed in the amount of time we had before the sun started to set, but I seriously love how these turned out! I am sharing my absolute favorites from the session. I think the very last picture may be my favorite posterity picture ever.
