Brothers...

Last week I had so much fun working with these two brothers. Seriously, can we say photogenic??? Younger brother "R" just turned one (obviously from the pictures we took) and he is ALL BOY! He reminds me of my own boys at this age....just curious, adventurous, and being super happy to explore the world. I love it. Big brother "K" is going to grow up to be a heart breaker! That kid's smile...ADORABLE! I am so happy with how these turned out, and here are my favorites...

I am so in love with this last shot. Mom and Dad had just changed "R" and he was DONE. But how adorable are these two!?

Eight Days Young and a new Family of Four

The last session I got to do while in Utah was for this beautiful NEWBORN! I had to pack my equipment from Colorado all the way over, but it was SO worth it! I was able to do a session with these guys last summer when they were still a family of 3 and I LOVE when my job allows me to capture a family as they grow together. So here are my very favorites of baby Kasey (by the way, best name ever!) ;) Baby Boy was SO good and I am completely smitten with him by default of his eyelashes and lips!

Mama looks a-MAZ-ing only days after giving birth!

And Miss Molly....you are still so stinkin' cute and sassy!
 So sleepy....

Look at those eyelashes! And those lips! This is possibly my favorite shot of him.

Old Neighbors, Awesome Family!

The first thing I am going to say is that I miss this family! We met Sam and Bryan during the Henderson (Vegas) chapter of our life and were fortunate enough to be neighbors while we lived there. Thinking about them still living there...makes me miss my old life and want to move back! These two were SO much fun! Going to dinner and putting us under a hilarious name to make the host or hostess say, playing The Office board game, Bryan's old gang stories (we will never forget White Thunder, hahaha) and so many more memories. And when Mo came into the mix, my heart was nearly broke when we had to move away before she turned 1 and we wouldn't be able to watch her grow up close. Click here to see what an adorable baby she was or also here for the last family session I was able to do before we moved away that included good ole' Bailey. So needless to say, we miss and love you guys!!!

The Hanks Family

While on our summer vacation in Utah, I was able to finally capture this awesome family. LeeAnne and I were roommates in college and quickly became soul sisters. My husband still knows that if Lenny is around, we will enter our own world that he will not be part of and he graciously accepts that fact. :) We have been trying to do these pictures since March, but her kiddos got really sick the day before our scheduled session, so we had to cancel. This time we had to wait out a huge thunderstorm at Thanksgiving Point and after some prayer for the down pour to end, we finally were able to do a session together. Yay! We couldn't do a lot of poses other than standing since everything was wet, but we were able to work around it. Thanks Hanks family for some time together. Now next time I'm in Utah, we just need to have a play day together instead of an hour! :) Love you guys!!!

I LOVE this shot!

I love this background. Feels like we're in a rain forest.

LOVE this image of the kiddos.

And a couple new head shots for this amazing author! (And I know her!!!) I'm super excited for her next book! Click here to check out her amazing creation. I read it in two nights after the kiddos were in bed. I could not put it down! I was sleep deprived, but it was awesome. Love you, Lenny!

The "J" Family

My last session before going on my summer vacation was with this adorable family and I really mean the word adorable! This family was so stinkin' cute to work with. Their little girl was a little tricky to get a smile out of, but when we finally figured out the trick (playing catch between me and her dad with her favorite stuffed animal) the smiles came out and melted my heart! This first picture is my very favorite from this session, but I am in love with all of these! It makes my job so fun and so easy when I get to work with people like the "J" family.
