7 Days New

I had the awesome pleasure of taking this guy's newborn photos when he was only one week old! His dad is a doctor along with my hubby in the residency program, although he is finishing his second year as we are closing in on our first. I can't say enough good things about this baby, his parents and the overall experience of this session. Newborn sessions are the hardest sessions to do, but they are also my favorite. It is just so amazing to be invited to capture these new miracles that are fresh from heaven. Thanks May family. It was an honor and a privilege.

I think this is even funnier knowing that his dad IS a doctor!

I can't decide between the black and white or color of this image.
Any thoughts???

In the middle of a yawn. Love getting to capture these!
I do believe this is my favorite from the session.

Med school in Iowa.

Remember his daddy is a doctor. So cute!

Seriously IN LOVE with this shot. He looks so grumpy in it, but he was far from it.

Of course I have to include my regular 'newborn head' shot that I take every time. :)

Young Love

I had the chance to photograph this cute couple recently. They were so fun and adventurous, letting me try new poses with them and gorgeous! I can't get over her smile; wish I was that beautiful when I smiled! They have been together for about two years and being with them made me feel young again. :) So thanks A & M for brightening my day with your young love!

I can't decide if I like the color or the black and white of this image. Both have things I love about it.

Newborn Overload!

Remember this maternity session? Well here is the little guy's debut! I was so, so excited that I was able to continue working with this family and document such two amazing milestones in their life. And seriously, how cute is this baby boy!? He was 14 days old at the time of this session and he wins the award for being the sleepiest baby during our time together, which makes my job so much easier. So enjoy this baby overload because I had so many favorites I had a really hard time narrowing them down!

I had been waiting for so long to use this adorable blue hat above. SO CUTE!

And because it was the week of Easter, I had to make the little guy a bunny. :)
The football beanie below is mine, but Mom and Dad had the idea of having their boy wear his daddy's Broncos tie. I love it.

I can't decide between these last two: color or black and white???
